Old friends become rivals again as Mikel Arteta's Arsenal take on Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in an exciting Premier League clash.

At the start of the season, Arsenal were expected to capitalize on any Manchester City slip-ups, but now a defeat to Guardiola’s side could nearly end their title hopes.
After a slow start in 2025, Arsenal have regained form, recently beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 with a stunning Riccardo Calafiori goal. They remain unbeaten at home this season and have earned more points than any other team since gameweek 11. Arsenal also secured a 2-1 Champions League win over Girona, ensuring progress to the last 16.
Meanwhile, Manchester City avoided a European exit with a second-half comeback against Club Brugge, and in the Premier League, they’re unbeaten in six matches. City are back in the top four and have a strong second-half record, losing just once in their last 40 matches from January onward. Arsenal, however, remain unbeaten in their last three league encounters with City, including their 2023 win at the Emirates.
