However, the Bhoys quickly bounced back with a commanding 3-0 victory over St Mirren in their most recent outing, and they now aim to maintain momentum against Dundee United.

Dundee United, meanwhile, have enjoyed a remarkable resurgence since earning promotion back to the Premiership by winning the 2023-24 Scottish Championship. Under Jim Goodwin's guidance, the Tangerines have climbed to third place with 34 points from 21 games, boasting nine wins, seven draws, and five losses. However, their 1-0 defeat to relegation-threatened Hearts in their last match ended a three-game winning streak, and they will be eager to respond against the league leaders.
