[Arabian Gulf Cup] Qatar has defeated Oman in their last three encounters.

In the second stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Oman displayed a strong level of performance, earning 13 points across six matches and securing first place ahead of Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, and Taiwan.
