Defending champions Inter aim to extend their unbeaten league run to 10 matches, while Lazio continue to shine across multiple competitions.

Lazio's recent run of form has been nothing short of impressive, as they continue their pursuit of silverware on multiple fronts. Back-to-back wins over Napoli in Serie A and the Coppa Italia highlighted their resurgence, with the latter victory knocking the former league leaders off the top spot after a 1-0 triumph at Stadio Maradona, bringing Lazio within three points of first place.  

The Aquile then carried their momentum to Amsterdam, where Pedro's crucial third goal helped secure an impressive 3-1 Europa League win over Ajax. With those significant away victories, Lazio remain strong contenders both domestically and in Europe. At Stadio Olimpico, their fortress, they’ve dropped only two points in Serie A this season, and a win on Monday could take them to 34 points from 16 matches—a rare milestone in the club's history.  

However, Lazio face a tough challenge against Inter Milan, having won only two of their last eight league encounters. Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi, a former Lazio legend as both player and manager, has gone unbeaten in his last four meetings with his old club and will aim to extend that streak.  

Inter, reigning Serie A champions, are also firmly in the title race, having lost just twice in 20 matches this season. Their attacking prowess was on display in a 3-1 victory over Parma, marking the eighth time they’ve scored three or more goals in a league match this term.
